Ian managed Tekron from its inception until becoming Chairman in 2010, implementing prudent financial and management policies which have enabled the company to achieve its existing strong financial and technical position as a leading supplier of GPS timing products, with customers in over 70 countries. As Civil Engineer, he has been involved in many high profile construction projects in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. These include nuclear and hydroelectric projects, bridges, wharves, tunnels and many buildings. Notable amongst these buildings is the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa where he was responsible for management of design and construction. Ian thrives on innovation and has implemented leading edge management practices in his various professional roles. He has represented the technology sector on a number of research organization boards and is an experienced workshop facilitator.
